It's a...

BOY! We add another boy to the Yuhas/Blevins clan. Baby Blevins is due on April 9th!

And we're waiting...

HAPPY THANKSGIVING! We're eating at my parents' house today at 5:oo, so we are just hanging out waiting for my mom to bring my aunt, Fran, to the house. Jay & Chels will be here soon with Chels' mom and sister too.

So, Jay & Chels found out the sex of their baby on Tuesday, and we still don't know yet. We're all trying to be patient...some of us more than others. They will be revealing the big surprise to us later today, and I can't wait. As soon as I know and can get to the computer, I'll let you know too, so be on the lookout for an update here and on Facebook. I don't have a feeling either way to be honest with you. I'd love a little niece, but we are turning into quite the boy family, so that would be awesome too. I can't believe they've kept the secret, and Chels didn't even budge when she and I went to a movie yesterday. (We saw New Moon...AMAZING! Team EDWARD all the way!)

Here are a few updated photos...

December 3rd...

So we have a busy few weeks coming up...Drew will turn 3 on December 2nd, and we close on our new house on December 3rd. We're very excited about the new house, and many of you asked to see pics, so here they are...

The house is located in Alpharetta and is about 2 -3 miles from the highway that Dave takes to get to work. We're about 15 to 20 minutes from my parents and my brother and his wife. my commute will be about the same....25-30 minutes, so it's in a great location. It's in a great neighborhood right off the Alpharetta square. Our lot has a creek going through the front yard, so the boys are sure to have fun out there. It's got 4 bedrooms and is located on the edge of a cul-de-sac. We won't have to change much...just a little paint. Dave's sister, her husband, and their little boy, Caal, are coming to help us out on Thursday, Dec 3rd, and that will be great. Plus, my parents offered to help out with our boys when we're moving, so we should be able to get things done quickly. We'll be ready for visitors in the new year, so come on down, up, or over anytime...

Watch your mouth...

because kids say the darndest things, especially when they are repeating what they hear their parents say. So on the way home from school today, Drew informed me that he is not a baby, and I am not to call him a baby anymore.

Well, that got me laughing so hard that I was crying because he was just so matter of fact about it. That's actually not the funniest part. While I was laughing about this comment, someone cut me off as I was turning, and I proceeded to yell at this person..."You are a retard." Yes, I said it, and yes, I'm sorry about it for many reasons. Mostly I'm sorry because Drew proceeded to tell me that he is not a tard, and he's going to tell Gaga (my mom) and his Dada that I called him a tard. This makes sense to me because I told him that if anyone was mean to him at school to tell the teacher or another adult...little did I realize he'd have to use this tactic on his own mother, and how did he know I was calling the other driver a retard when I distinctly said, '"You are a retard."

We quickly had a lesson in name-calling and how what mommy said was not nice, and that I am in trouble because I said it, etc...I was still laughing and crying when we called Dave to tell him over speakerphone because Drew said he wanted to call Dada to tell him that I called him a tard. I guess I will have to watch my mouth...luckily he didn't repeat me when I yelled, "You suck, you S-O-B" to Tex as he pulled an entire pack of crackers off the kitchen counter last night. I was due for one of these moments in my life; let's be honest, I'm known for my sailor mouth...well not anymore unless I want my kid to spend every day at school in time out for calling people S-O-B's and tards. So, I'm headed to TIME OUT right now because that's where I belong.

The Yankees win...and more.

It was an exciting night in the Yuhas/Blevins household last night as the Yankees won the World Series. Dave was the only one who made it through the entire game, but they boys were up and ready with their new Yankees gear this morning. Thanks to cousins, Colleen & Courtney, for their new gear.

We had a great and busy October with Grady's arrival, parties at school, and Halloween. In other news, we have a contract on a house in Alpharetta and are set to close on December 3rd. It's a bittersweet time for us as we move on to our own house, but we've so appreciated the hospitality and support from my parents. It's truly amazing how well we've all done; at least, from our end, it's been really nice for all of us. Drew is going to be very sad once he realizes that Pops and Gaga aren't supposed to live with us everyday, but I'm guessing he'll get some special time with them too.

A tribute to the Gators...

So, I happened to check to see if I had any new comments on any of my recent postings, and I found this..check it out. We made an apperance on a great blog that I refer to on my own blog as a "Tribute to UGA." Am I happy that they posted a picture of me that makes me look enourmous?...ok, it was the picture we took as we headed out the door to the hospital, so I guess I need to cut myself some slack. Enjoy!
