and baby makes 4, or 6, or 9 if we're getting technical...

So that's why I haven't posted anything since Feb.9th...I am 15 weeks pregnant and have had a rough go for the last few months. This baby is kicking my butt. The numbers in the post title refer to if we count our dogs and then of course my parents and their dog all living under the same roof.

Despite the way I've been feeling, we do have some photos from the last few months, so I'll get those posted soon. The baby is due October 22nd, but I'll have to have a c-section sometime before that. We are not going to find out the sex of this baby either, but I'm thinking it might be a girl since it's been so different from my 1st trimester with Drew. I have to give a serious shout-out of thanks to my parents and Dave. I would have been SOL without their help the last few months because I have been so worthless.

Drew is doing well. He still loves school along with singing his ABCs and counting to 10. Dave is doing well too. We're praying that his company can land another project soon, so that stress will be out the window. We currently have a contract on our house. This all just happened this week, and we are supposed to close on May 11th. We're hoping it will all go through with ease.

I hope all is well with everyone! I'll try not to be a blog slacker anymore.

Drew plays football & "Bob the Builder"

We signed Drew up for a class called Lil' Allstars, and they work on skills for basketball, football, t-ball, and soccer. It's really just a fun gym class for 2 year olds that Dave and I get to watch on Saturday mornings. We've met some nice people through the class. Below you'll see Drew prepping for football. The other pics are from tonight when Drew and Daddy were on the phone with Bob the Builder. He gave them strict orders about building their tower and taking a bath.

A pictureless post...SORRY!

Things have been a little crazy this month, so I've been lazy yet again. Drew is in a gym class on Saturday mornings, so I will get those pics up this weekend for your amusement. They spend 2 weeks on a specific sport; they started with basketball, then football, soccer, and t-ball. It is comical to say the least.

On a more serious note, we, along with many others, are just waiting out this economic storm. We continue to hope and pray that someone in the Blevins/Yuhas clan will sell some real estate, and just recently, several of my teaching friends were notified that due to their part-time status with the county, they will not be receiving a contract next year. There are many others that we know whose jobs are uncertain, and it will continue to be a trying time. I am hoping I will be safe with a job next year, but you never know. We also continue to pray for our troops overseas wherever they may be. (As of today, my friend, Kendra will be separated from her new husband who is in Japan until May.)

On a lighter note, we hear of babies being born (The Edwards family) and babies on the way (Hecks and Parkers)...maybe there are more that I don't know about yet. Keep the emails, texts, and Facebook updates coming. No news on that front from the Yuhas'...yet.

Sorry to make this post so serious, but the reality in our lives right now is that people we love are hurting, and I just wanted them to know that we continue to pray for them.

Parties, Christmas, December, Snow, and Family...Enjoy!

First of all, I want to wish all of our friends and family a Happy New Year! I was lazy and cheap this year and decided not to send Christmas cards. This post will just have to do. We've had a very busy December with Drew's Bob the Builder birthday party, a trip to the aquarium with mommy & daddy, Christmas with my family, and a trip to Rochester to see Dave's family.

This one is for Heaney

Some of my college friends, the Heckster, and my family have been getting onto me about the fact that I haven't updated the blog lately, so here are some pics from the last few weeks. We went to Destin to see some old friends in mid-November. Thanks to Chris and Sawa for being such great hosts. We spent a lot of time with friends and family over Thanksgiving break, and we celebrated Drew's 2nd birthday today! We had a great web chat with Dave's parents, and we're gearing up for our trip to NY for Christmas to see Drew's cousin, Caal. Thanks to everyone for all the calls, emails, cards, and gifts for Drew's birthday. You were very generous!

Drew in North Carolina

We drove to North Carolina this weekend to see the leaves. Drew had fun in the leftover snow, and Dave got some great shots of the little guy.
