I had to share this picture of our nephew, Caal, in his Elvis costume. He is such a cutie! We are all so excited to be together for Christmas in New York. Drew and Caal will have a blast. Hopefully, they'll get to see some snow.

A few Fall days...
We've had a busy few weekends lately. Yesterday we went to the Fall Festival at Drew's new school. Drew went as Drew Brees. We really wish he was still the Purdue quarterback. Thank God for Gator football! We're hoping the Dawgs will be Gator-bait next weekend...sorry, Chels! (Well, kinda sorry...)! We had a cookout with the Parkers last night; it's probably one of the last ones before the weather really makes a turn here. We are loving the fall weather though. Last Saturday we drove to Athens in the morning to see the Wherry and Vogeltanz family. I have known them since I was just a little older than Drew. Last Friday night, Dave and my parents took care of Abby Edwards. She is the daughter of Blake & Rebecca, our friends from D.C. They were in town for a conference with Dave's old company and asked us to keep Abby for the night. I was at the Homecoming parade and football game, so I had to miss out on the fun.

Drew @ the zoo
On Saturday, we met Paul, Mandy, Avery, & Dora/Frinley (AKA Parker baby #2 - due in Feb) and headed to the zoo. Drew and Avery love to hold hands because we made them over and over again. We just loved seeing them do this. After the zoo, we headed to Buffalo Wild Wing at Northpoint for dinner. We didn't know it until we sat down, but it's the LSU football hangout. We tried to play it low-key and even met some decent LSU tiger fans sitting next to us who were great with the kids, but all hell broke loose once Florida scored that first touchdown. Ok, maybe I'm embellising a little bit (Ha, Dave), but Dave and I did jump up and scream...briefly!
And yes, we are still Purdue fans, but what's there to be so happy about on that front?!?! Boiler Up & Go Gators! Drew has "Choo, Choo" down, and we're working on a solid Gator chomp.

Fun with Grammy and Papa
Dave's parents took care of Drew a few weeks ago when we went to Pete's wedding. I had to share some of the fun they had. Enjoy!

Some "new" things...
It's hard to tell from these pictures, but Drew got a new pair of shoes and some balls to play with this week. He played hard, so he had to take a nap on his Thomas ball AND his soccer ball.
