Dave's Sprint Triathalon & back to school...

Last weekend we made a short trek to Chattanooga, TN, so Dave and our friend, Paul, could compete in a sprint triathalon. They had to swim 1/4 mile, bike 8 miles, and run 2 miles. Dave finished in 58 minutes and 17 seconds. We were very proud of them!

School started this Monday, and I've been exhausted, but I must say it's been nice to get back into a routine. I will work right up until my c-section which is scheduled for noon (not 7:45 am as originally planned) on October 15th; I should be on maternity leave until the second week of December. I'll go back for one week before Christmas break and then full time again in January.

It's official!

Baby Yuhas will arrive on October 15th at 7:45 am unless he/she decides to come early! We are very excited and know the time will be here before we know it.

I go back to work this Tuesday, and the kids will be at school on August 10th. It's hard to believe that I'm starting my 10th year of teaching, and I'm so thankful that I still love my job. I will work until the Friday before my c-section and head back during the last week of the semester for exams. My parents will be watching the baby until sometime this spring....Thank God for them!

Many of you have asked about Dave's job, and we really appreciate your concern and support. As of today, I don't have an update. August is supposed to be a re-assessment month, so we'll see what happens. They are bidding work constantly, and as soon as they get a project, they should be in a good spot. We're still on hold with the house hunting as we wait for jobs to stabilize, but as many of you have pointed out to me (even though I know it), we are really lucky to have the extra set of hands in my parents as we add another child to the mix, so you won't hear any complaints from me.
