Thanks to Fran...

for the pictures for this post. Fran downloaded her pictures from Christmas, my mom's surprise 60th, and Chels' baby shower to my home computer, so I would have some pics to post. Check them out!

I'm a blogging slacker...

So, life has been incredibly busy, and I honestly haven't had the time to post anything. Not to mention, about 2 weeks ago, when I was being "the best mommy ever" and trying to work on the computer while really putting Drew off, he dropped our digital camera into my cup of coffee. It was my fault! So now, I need to find the cord to our old camera that I've been using, and post some pictures.

This will be a picture-free post, so if you don't like those...stop reading here.

What have we been up to? Grady turned 3 months (here's where I would insert a picture if I had the ability to do so...sorry!) Drew is regressing a little in his potty training, but I think it might be our fault. We've been putting 1/4-1/2 cap of Miralax (a stool softener ---sorry for those of you offended by my need to write about my son's stool softener) in his sippy cup each morning, and it's really working. He can't make it to the toilet to do #2, so we're working on that one. Don't worry...we stopped the Miralax. Drew also had a big night last night...he spent the night with my parents. They offered to watch him since they don't see him as often now that we're on our own. Dave and I had grand plans to color my hair, clean the house, grade papers (me), and eat sushi out. We had Grady with us, but at this point, he still falls asleep in the car whenever we're out, so we knew we were good to go...well, Drew took a ridiculously long nap, so we got to my parents' house late, then we hit up Whole Foods for sushi and ended up eating it at the coffee table watching football. We were in bed by 8:30. It was actually a good night in my eyes. Poor Dave got up to feed Grady his last bottle at 9:30, and I had no idea anything went on outside of my own sleep.

I think Drew had fun with Gaga and Pops...when he got into bed with my parents, Pops started snoring, and he told Gaga that Pops was snoring. Gaga told him that the snoring was a song, but Drew told Gaga that he wanted the song to stop. Drew finally fell asleep, and my dad's ribcage took the brunt of his sideways kicking. Thanks guys!

Grady is full of smiles and coos. He is such a happy baby now thanks to the Prevacid he's on for his reflux. He's sleeping from about 10 until 6 each night;although, we've had a middle of the night wake up call the last few nights. Hopefully, that will end tonight!

Dave is working hard to finish a dresser that he is turning into our new entertainment center. It's amazing how he is doing this. I'll post pics of that later too.

In other news, we had a surprise 60th for my mom last weekend. She was surprised by friends from Destin, Nashville, and her sis, from Texas along with friends and family who live in Atlanta. We had a blast surprising her!

Jay and Chels' baby is due in 12 weeks, and we can't wait to meet the little guys. Drew is set on his name being Brooks, and we like it too. They haven't made anything official, so we'll see.

We also watched the news as I'm sure many of you did about the earthquake and were saddened and shocked by what we saw. The images of the children continue to be the most disturbing to us. On a sad note, my aunt Fran's friend, Jean, lost her life as a result of injuries she sustained during the earthquake. She made a last minute decision to join a mission trip to Haiti and suffered internal injuries when debris fell on her while she and others were helping patients in an eye clinic. The other 11 members of her mission trip returned safely to Dallas. Jean walked with Fran in the 3 day breast cancer walk in Dallas several years ago and worked for Texas Retina (where Fran works) for 25 years. I know Fran, her family, and her other friends would appreciate your thoughts and prayers.

Finally, thanks for all of your prayers...some of them have been answered. Keep them coming!
