Earlier in the week, Drew and his daddy had some fun time in the backyard with the dogs. We had a little family reunion when my parents came back from the mountains, and we all watched football together today. The last picture pretty much sums up the day...Jay...alone in his chair in the backyard after Florida's loss to Ole Miss. I think the quote of the day was when he said, "This (meaning Florida football) defines, (then he proceeded to re-phrase his statement as to not sound completely ridiculous) defines a part of who I am." It was classic. Those of you who know Jay and his love for Florida football also know that this was a tough loss. He threatened to body slam someone and give someone a rug burn. Sad, but true. Perhaps, this is why my brother eventually needed a hand therapist after a Florida loss to LSU where he and his hand had a not so happy encounter with his kitchen countertops.

Pete Horsfall GOT married...Dave & Kari get a weekend sans Drew!
Dave's best friend from college got married at Elkhart Lake in Wisconsin this weekend. It was an amazing weekend. The wedding was on Friday night (I highly recommend this.), and there were about 115 people there. It was a great size for a wedding, and we had a blast as you can see from the pics. We reconnected with some old friends and made some new ones too. We also got to meet and spend a lot time with Pete's wife, Stacy. We love her and wish they lived closer to us. We're planning on a spring visit from them where we're going to host a "Garden Party" in their honor. This is a random request from Pete who envisions that all people living in the south must host this kind of party...Yeah, right! Being with Pete and our Purdue friends brought back a lot of memories...Enjoy the pics!
Me & Dave (Isn't his bow-tie cool? It was a hit at the wedding.) We have to give props to our friend, Jim Ryman, on this one.
Also, we were lucky enough to have Grammy and Papa Yuhas come from NY to stay with Drew. My parents are in NC meeting with some of their Texas friends. Drew had a blast and was spoiled rotten. I'll post pics of their weekend later this week.

Dave, Kari, Katie, & Mo (Mo was Dave's roommate at Purdue; he and Katie have 2 little boys.) We haven't seen them since 1999; it has been way too long.
Pete & Mo doing their Fat Boy Slim dance... It was like being back in the Waldron Square apartments, circa 1998.

Thanks to Pete, Stacy, and their families for a great weekend!

Wii & Gator-time
The first few pics are from Jay's 26th bday party. Jay and I had a little boxing match on the Wii; I would like it known that I did knock him down at one point in the match. Truth be told...he knocked me out!
Here is a day in Gator-town with Drew and Uncle Jay-Jay! They had a blast.
