A happy boy & a sad boy (or grown man, you decide...)
Earlier in the week, Drew and his daddy had some fun time in the backyard with the dogs. We had a little family reunion when my parents came back from the mountains, and we all watched football together today. The last picture pretty much sums up the day...Jay...alone in his chair in the backyard after Florida's loss to Ole Miss. I think the quote of the day was when he said, "This (meaning Florida football) defines, (then he proceeded to re-phrase his statement as to not sound completely ridiculous) defines a part of who I am." It was classic. Those of you who know Jay and his love for Florida football also know that this was a tough loss. He threatened to body slam someone and give someone a rug burn. Sad, but true. Perhaps, this is why my brother eventually needed a hand therapist after a Florida loss to LSU where he and his hand had a not so happy encounter with his kitchen countertops.

Pick your head up friend. This is all in preparation for your upcoming loss to the Dawgs in November and to avoid future bodily harm to yourself and more importantly those around you that love you, and not the gators! And, please, not a word about our loss this past weekend...thanks :)
