4 month stats...

Ok, so I see other people doing this on their blogs, and in theory, I think it's a great idea. But let's be realistic; I'll probably forget to do it again.

Grady is 4 months old TODAY! (pic to follow) Drew and I took him to the doctor for his 4 month checkup. On our way to the doctor's office, I watched the temperature fall from 40 degrees to a balmy 35 degrees (Ok, midwest and northeastern friends, that's cold to me...). We hauled ourselves into the office with snacks, diaper bag, car seat, and toys in hand and settled in for a long wait.

Here were the results:
Height - 25 1/4 (50-75th percentile)
Weight - 14 lb, 12.8 oz (50th percentile)
Head - 42 cm (25-50th percentile)

3 shots!!!!!! ugh! Awful! Worst nightmare for any parent!!Better than them getting the disease you're vaccinating against...I guess?! Still sucks!

You ask me how does this compare to last time...I don't freaking know. Do you think I really have his stat sheet hanging around anymore?! It's probably stuck somewhere between CandyLand and a stack of essays that I need to grade.

On a lighter note, being the mom of two boys is pretty awesome. Grady is just starting to be able to "play" with Drew by grabbing at his face, and although Drew pretends to hate it, he usually squeals and laughs like crazy. They are pretty cute together.

Dave and I had a nice V-day. We each ran separately (7 miles...we're still in training), played with the boys, then we shared some take-out sushi with cold beer and a movie - Role Models (hilariously inappropriate). My friend, Marty, texted me that a year ago yesterday we were in Charleston with our moms and my friend, Teri, having a girls weekend. I had just found out I was pregnant. Mom pointed out that today was the day we drove home, and I started feeling sick which lasted until May. Wow - what a difference a year can make. In that year, Marty and I each had our 2nd child.
